Finally! I managed to get into a workshop on photography.
I'm doing it for free at my university, and the professor is a studio photographer, so he knows a lot and brings lots of art books to classes. 1/3 of the class is lectures and then we have practice with our own cameras and borrowed ones, on an improvised studio, with artificial light through umbrellas and all that movie-like stuff.
I now understand better how my point-and-shoot really sucks, although it has good manual control. The difference in light, sharpness and depth quality to any SLR I experimented there is just to great.
So, you who is reading this, if you don't like your DSLR camera, or if you know who doesn't, be so kind to mail it to me, cause I cannot afford one myself. Thank you so much for reading.
